resurge/alight/burrow series

Boozhoo Relatives. This series has been a long time coming, and now that I’ve had some time to sit with my creation, and it feels not quite so newborn, I’ll start breaking down a little of the history, concept, and hopes behind my art installation, resurge/alight/burrow, currently taking the form of a camp on the grounds of the Chippewa Valley Museum, surrounded by Half Moon Lake in what is currently referred to as Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
